Group Visits / Room Hire

The Heritage Centre which has two function rooms available to hire if required

The Robert Copeland Conference Suite
is located adjacent to the Blue Room, home to the world famous collection of Spode's blue transfer printed wares. The Suite can accommodate 50 people and also be reconfigured to suit the occasion.
NB. This room is situated on the first floor of a heritage building and there is no disabled access.

The Daniel Room

is a smaller function room offering an intimate environment suitable for meetings and special occasions and is located on the ground floor of the centre.

The Daniel Room

£100 per day or £60 per half day.
Food and drinks can also be provided (available for bookings and special events only)
Tea/Coffee/Biscuits - £2.50 per person
Cold Buffet from £5.50 per person

    • Group Visits - bookings to be made in advance for visits taking place during normal Heritage Centre opening hours.  If your Group would like to visit at any other time please contact the Centre who will be happy to help
    • Specialist Groups - the Centre is happy to host visits from specialist Ceramic Groups and to arrange speakers for the event upon request
    • School Visits - the Centre is happy to host visits from school groups and can tailor the visit to suit pupils ages, learning abilities and preferred curriculum themes.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements.  Groups must be accompanied by appropriate qualified and DBS checked supervisors/helpers.  Teachers and assistants are welcome to come along pre-visit to discuss requirements in detail.

    Car Parking
    Limited free on-site car parking is available on a first come basis.  Disabled parking spaces are available immediately outside the entrance to the Heritage Centre.  
    Coach Parking
    We will endeavour to arrange parking on the site, the following alternative spaces are available:
    • Spark Street, Stoke - road side pay and display (limited to 3 hours)
    • South Wolfe Street, Stoke - Pay and Display with no height restriction at the entrance - please park across two bays and pay for two tickets
    • Hinde Street, Hanley (ST1 3TD) free coach parking
