Opening times & access

Spring opening
The Visitor Centre reopened for the 2014 season on Friday, 7th March and will remain so until 2nd November 2014.

Opening Days:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm  

Free admission
There is no charge for admission.  A small charge may be made for workshops and events; donations to support Spode Works and the work of the Spode Museum Trust are welcome.

Groups and school parties
If you would like to visit with a larger group we can open the centre on another day to suit you.  Please get in touch via telephone or email to book.  See the page 'Bring a group'.

Parking
Parking is in the Pay and Display car park on Elenora Street opposite the red factory gates. The first hour is free to park, but you will need to buy a ticket if you wish to stay longer. Parking is free on Sundays! 

Blue badge parking
Blue badge holders can park right next to the visitor centre. Please drive through the large red gates on Elenora Street and turn right.

Accessibility within the visitor centre
There is ramped access to the doors of the centre, and between the two main display areas within the centre.  The gallery is accessible if you use a wheelchair or are bringing a buggy. There are chairs in different places in the exhibition areas if you would like to sit down.  There are some tactile items on display.  Please ask our helpers if they can be of any assistance to you.

Toilets and baby change
There are toilets on site, including accessible toilets and a baby change area. These are maintained by Stoke City Council.
