Opening times and access


The Heritage Centre reopens for the 2017 Season on Friday, 31st March.


Our Heritage Centre Manager, Michael Escolme looks forward to welcoming you.



OPENING DAYS 

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm  

FREE ADMISSION

There is no charge for admission.  Thee are small additional charges for some facilities and hire of the Robert Copeland Conference Suite - please see the Bring a Group Page for details. Donations to support the Heritage Centre and the work of the Spode Museum Trust are welcome.

GROUPS AND SCHOOL PARTIES

If you would like to visit with a larger group we can open the centre on another day to suit you.  Please get in touch via telephone or email to book.  See the page 'Bring a group'.

PARKING

Parking is in the Pay and Display car park on Elenora Street opposite the red factory gates. The first hour is free to park, but you will need to buy a ticket if you wish to stay longer. Parking is free on Sundays! 

BLUE BADGE PARKING

Blue badge holders can park right next to the visitor centre. Please drive through the large red gates on Elenora Street and turn right.

ACCESSIBILITY WITHIN THE HERITAGE CENTRE

There is ramped access to the doors of the centre and between the two main display areas within the centre.  The gallery is accessible if you use a wheelchair or are bringing a buggy. There are chairs in different places in the exhibition areas if you would like to sit down. There are some tactile items on display.  Please ask our volunteers if they can be of any assistance to you.

TOILETS AND BABY CHANGE

There are toilets on site, including accessible toilets and a baby change area. These are maintained by Stoke City Council.
